Update 8:21 p.m.: The Des Moines Police Department says the 11-year-old has been found safe and has been reunited with his family.The Des Moines Police Department is asking the community for help in locating a missing 11-year-old boy. According to DMPD, Malik was last seen in the southside Indianola Hills neighborhood, near the 400 block of Olinda Avenue at approximately 4 p.m. Police say Malik is believed to be in crisis. Malik was last seen wearing a blue colored hooded sweatshirt and blue colored shorts. If you see or believe you have seen Malik, call 911.
