Around 2 p.m. Saturday, Talena Chavis, the owner of NC Snake Catcher, was contacted to come to the McDonald's and retrieve a 4-foot boa constrictor found outside the restaurant under the drive-thru window.
When Chavis arrived, a brave couple had already put the snake in a box. The couple was at the restaurant and contacted Chavis.
Chavis said the snake, a boa constrictor imperator, can reach 8 feet in length. And she thinks the snake may have gotten loose from a vendor at a reptile show in the area that stopped at the McDonald’s for a bite to eat.
