Body of missing kayaker recovered from Iowa River

The Hardin County Sheriff's Office has recovered and identified the body of a kayaker who went missing Friday.
First responders were called at around 11:48 a.m. Friday to the Iowa River in Iowa Falls. It was reported that a man was separated from his kayak. An extensive search involving more than a dozen agencies then began.
The Hardin County Sheriff's Office says the body was found just before 11 p.m. Friday. On Saturday afternoon, deputies identified the man as 34-year-old Levi Mentz of Iowa Falls.
