What's Boston's dating scene like? It's not bad. Yeah, it's fine. Uh, it's fine. Everything's fine. Everything's great. Everything's great. That being said, there's good news for singles looking to spice up their life. I always say I want to fall in love with my best friend, and I think that's very true. This is Marissa, and she's looking for love with the help of her best friends. I'm kind of nervous, yeah. I have notes on my phone of like because I want to say the right thing and I'm like, yeah, like this just has to be perfect for her. They are getting ready to pitch Marissa literally. This is pitch *** friend, *** night out to show off your single bestie to *** room full of strangers. You know that they're real first of all, and they have people in their life who care about them. That's such *** cool concept. Surely it exists in Boston. Emily Smith founded the Boston chapter of Pitch *** Friend. She was Fired after seeing it launch in Philly and after having mixed results with online dating, I think if there's something to be said for that, that people want to meet people in person again. Armed with photos and slideshows, pictures share their best friends' qualities. This is her. After eating 10 ribs, you guys, they're quirks and hobbies. For those of you who like doing things outside, Stephen's your guy and what they're looking for in *** relationship. Marissa's perfect match. is someone who will make her laugh, and this is going to be pretty easy because she laughs at everything. Oh, and the friend is in the audience the whole time. I want people to know that my friend Stephen here is *** walking human green flag. Alex pitched Stephen. He volunteered to grochet at the local retirement home, and in true green flag fashion, Stephen returned favor. 5 out of 5 stars rating. He's just obviously I. I think it speaks for himself. He's like the funniest person and anyone would be lucky to be able to be with them. So how did it go for the brave pitchers and these catches? I didn't know what to expect, but it was so much fun, and I can't wait to come back. And at the very least they still leave feeling loved. I was really touched, you know, he said *** lot of really nice things about me. It would be nice to maybe hear some of those things outside of *** pitcher friend event once in *** while.

"You know, he said a lot of really nice things about me. It would be nice to maybe hear some of those things outside of a pitch event once in a while!" So what does it look like IRL? “I didn’t know what to expect, but it was so much fun," said Marissa, a 23-year-old participant who came with a group of friends.
