I CAME TO PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST MEET THE BEST FRIENDS, CAROLINA OLIVEIRA AND SARA VIEIRA. WE WE LIVE IN THE SAME BUILDING. YEAH, AND WE LIVE DOWNTOWN. THEIR STORY STARTED WHEN MADISON TECHNICAL COLLEGE STUDENTS WENT OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE THE CONCERT. LET’S GO OUT TONIGHT. MAYBE WE’LL MEET CHRIS SOMEWHERE. THEIR HOPE TO RUN INTO THE INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR AND COLDPLAY FRONTMAN. SO, LIKE, 1 A.M., SHE SAID THAT SHE SAW A FAMOUS PERSON. I’M LIKE, OF COURSE. AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. I KEPT, LIKE, CALLING HIM LIKE, OH, YEAH, FOR SURE. LIKE CHRIS MARTIN. AND THEN HE STOPPED AND TURNED AROUND. CHRIS MARTIN SPOTTED ON STATE STREET AND THEN HE JUST LIKE, TURNED AROUND AND WAVED AND WE WERE LIKE, OH MY GOD, CAN WE PLEASE COME TALK TO YOU? AND THEY HAVE THE PICTURES TO PROVE IT. I SAW HIS FACE, BUT LIKE, SHE NEVER BELIEVES ME BECAUSE I DIDN’T HAVE MY GLASSES ON, BECAUSE SHE DOESN’T SEE. PRETTY GOOD. SEEN HERE, SPORTING A BALL CAP, STROLLING AROUND THE STATE CAPITAL. A CHANCE ENCOUNTER. THE PAIR SAYS THEY MANIFESTED. WE TRY TO KEEP IT COOL. THEN MARTIN ASKED IF THEY HAD TICKETS TO SATURDAY NIGHT’S CONCERT. THEY DIDN’T HAVE EXTRA, SO HE WAS LIKE, WELL, GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL. WE’RE GOING TO WE’RE GOING TO FIGURE IT OUT. SO THE NEXT NIGHT THE FRIEND SHOWED UP AND WAITING FOR THEM AT THE BOX OFFICE. A SPECIAL ENVELOPE WITH THE WORDS GUEST OF CHRIS. WHEN I GOT THERE AND I SAID, SHOW THEM MY ID AND THEY HAVE. THEY HAD AN ENVELOPE. YEAH. THEY’RE LIKE, YES, OF CHRIS AND SAID LIKE GUEST OF CHRIS. AND I’M LIKE, TICKETS TO THE SHOW AND HEARING THEIR NAMES FROM THE LEAD SINGER HIMSELF. ABOUT 130 LAST NIGHT, I MET MY FRIEND HAVING ONE OF THE FRIENDS, SUSAN GAVE ME A COUPLE OF GERRON JORDAN, EVEN IF HE DIDN’T QUITE GET THE NAMES RIGHT. BUT CHRIS. I’M SUSAN. Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin surprised two fans with concert tickets after a chance encounter on State Street in Madison, Wisconsin.Carolina Oliveira and Sarah Vieire, students at Madison Technical College, had hoped to meet the international superstar while out the night before the concert "I kept calling him like, 'Oh yeah, for sure. Oh, Chris Martin.' Then, he stopped and turned around," Oliveira said, describing the moment they realized they were face-to-face with the Coldplay front man. We're going to figure it out, '" Oliveira said.True to his word, the next night, the friends arrived at the concert to find a special envelope at the box office labeled "Guest of Chris," containing tickets to the show.During the concert, Martin gave a special shoutout to the pair, although he humorously admitted he didn't quite remember their names correctly. "About 1:30 in the morning last night, I met a girl called Carolina Oliveira and her friends Susan, maybe — I can't remember," Martin said from the stage in front of a sold-out crowd at Camp Randall.Reflecting on the experience, Oliveira expressed gratitude for Martin's generosity and the unforgettable shoutout. "I'm just going to say we made it," Oliveira said. "We made it a good story to go viral, and I hope he's happy with everything and that we are so, so, so thankful for like his help and the shoutout, like I would never in a million years believe that would happen."
