THE MORNING DRIVE. THAT FOG IS DEFINITELY PLAYING A PART IN THAT RIGHT NOW. WE HAVE A BIG CRASH BEING REPORTED ON HIGHWAY FIVE. IF YOU’RE TRYING TO HEAD TOWARD THE WEST PORTION OF THE METRO AND TOWARD I-35, THIS IS WHAT YOU’RE SEEING. GOT A LOT OF EMERGENCY RESPONDERS HANGING OUT THERE IN YOUR RIGHT SHOULDER AND RIGHT LANE, AND YOU CAN HARDLY SEE IT ON THIS CAMERA. BUT IF YOU LOOK REALLY CLOSELY RIGHT HERE, YOU SEE SOME TAIL LIGHTS THAT’S BACKING UP TRAFFIC ALL THE WAY TO THE SOUTHWEST CONNECTOR. SO BIG MESS OUT THERE. AND THEN WE GOT ANOTHER BIG MESS ON I-235. THE CRASH IS BEING REPORTED CLOSER TO GUTHRIE AS YOU’RE TRYING TO MAKE YOUR WAY INTO DOWNTOWN, BUT THAT’S BACKING UP TRAFFIC ALL THE WAY TO THE EAST. MIXMASTER AGAIN, REALLY HARD TO SEE, BUT YOU GOT THIS LINE OF TAIL LIGHTS AND THAT’S ALL BEING BACKED UP FROM THAT CRASH. SO HERE’S A LOOK AT OUR MAP RIGHT NOW A MESS. IF YOU’RE TRYING TO MAKE YOUR WAY FROM ANKENY INTO DOWNTOWN, OR IF YOU’RE TRYING TO MAKE YOUR WAY AGAIN FROM HIGHWAY FIVE TO I-35, YOU’RE GOING TO BE SEEING QUITE THE SLOWDOWN. THIS IS A LOOK AT YOUR DRIVE TIMES RIGHT NOW. WHAT’S USUALLY A FIVE MINUTE DRIVE IS TRIPLE THAT. EAST MAKES IT. DOWNTOWN IS 15 MINUTES AND YOU STILL SEE SOME TRAFFIC FROM THE WEST INTO DOWNTOWN. THAT’S ABOUT NINE MINUTES. SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL IN THAT FOG. WE’RE SEEING A LOT OF PROBLEMS BECAUSE OF THAT. I’M GOING TO UPDATE THIS ON THE vlog WEBSITE, AND WE’RE GOING TO BRING YOU ANOTHER UPDATE HERE ON
