YOU CAN SEE VEHICLES ARE IN THE MEDIAN RIGHT THERE. WE HAVE MULTIPLE EMERGENCY VEHICLES ON SITE, HIGHWAY HELPER TOW TRUCKS. THIS RESPONSE IS EVEN BIGGER. JUST A COUPLE MINUTES AGO. BUT WHETHER YOU’RE HEADING NORTHBOUND OR SOUTHBOUND IN THIS DIRECTION, YOUR LEFT SHOULDER IS GOING TO BE BLOCKED. AS THEY CONTINUE TO ADDRESS THAT SITUATION. 7:30 a.m. Update: Up near Williams, along I-35 the Iowa Department of Transportation is reporting a crash blocking the left shoulder in both directions. Multiple emergency vehicles, ambulances and highway helpers are on site, congregated near the median. Keep an eye out for first responders. Central Iowa drivers are starting out the midweek morning commute with no slowdowns or delays.The Iowa Department of Transportation is reporting a crash in the Cedar Rapids area.
