IF YOU CAN GET OUT WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF MINUTES OR SO, I SUGGEST YOU DO SO. WALK TO THE WEST MIXES 11 MINUTES AND WEST MIX IN DOWNTOWN IS JUST SEVEN MINUTES, SO WE’LL CHECK BACK IN WITH THOSE DRIVE TIMES AND YOU

As of 7 a.m., there are no crashes being reported in Central Iowa. Drivers are still advised to be cautious during the morning commute as rain continues to move through the area, creating slippery road conditions similar to yesterday. There is a stalled DART bus on I-235 near E 15th Street. The bus and a highway helper are blocking the eastbound right shoulder. Drivers should keep an eye out for flashing lights.
