HE IS THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL. AND THE CROWD GOING AND DEFINITELY NOT SHY ABOUT SAYING WHICH TEAM HE’S PULLING FOR. WE HAVE IOWA STATE CYCLONES AT THE MOMENT. Ray McAdam, the lord mayor of Dublin, energized the crowd at a pep rally by expressing his support for the Iowa State Cyclones ahead of their game at Aviva Stadium. The honorary title of lord mayor is held by the chairperson of Dublin City Council, and McAdam praised the Cyclone traveling party in his distinctive Irish accent."We have Iowa State Cyclones here at the moment. The energy, the craic is just fabulous and we are looking for an absolutely rip-roaring game in the Aviva tomorrow. I'm supposed to stay neutral, but everyone knows I'm going to be fighting for the Iowa State Cyclones," McAdam said.
