AND NOW SHE’S BRINGING SMILES TO CUSTOMERS AND HER CO-WORKERS ALIKE. AT THE DUNKIN’ DONUTS ON ROUTE ONE IN FOXBORO. >> THANK YOU SO MUCH. >> ONE EMPLOYEE IS SERVING UP COFFEE. AND A SMILE. >> HONESTLY IN MY 20 YEARS, I’VE NEVER SEEN ANYONE SO EXCITED TO COME TO THEIR WORK. A Massachusetts woman with Down syndrome is one happy Dunkin' worker after she scored her dream job.Paula Machado serves up coffee with a smile at the Dunkin’ on Route 1 in Foxborough.She started the job two weeks ago after a chance encounter with family friend Dayna Zola.“She told me it’s her dream job, so I said, ‘I'm going to get it,’” Zola said. Zola posted on Linkedin on Machado’s behalf, and minutes later, Zola heard from Dunkin’ owner John Primpas, who offered Machado an interview for a coveted spot as a crewmember.“I wish everyone I interviewed said (Dunkin’ was their dream job) because I'd have a lot of employees, but no, I have not, not in a long time,” Primpas said.Machado now wears the uniform with pride while keeping the Dunkin’ the cleanest and most inviting environment for its customers. “Customers want to come in, and they want to see happy employees. They see happy employees. They’re going to want to return to this facility,” Primpas said.“Paula is a happy beautiful person. She is always smiling,” Zola said.
