THEY CALLED POLICE ABOUT IT AND STAYED BY HER SIDE FOR OVER AN HOUR. CCPD SAYS THE BROWNS TREAT WITH KINDNESS, PROVIDED HER WITH FOOD ANDRINKS AND HELPED OFFICERS REUNITE HER WITH HER CAREGIVER. Larry and Cecelia Browne of Cape Coral were recognized by the Cape Coral Police Department in Florida for their kindness in helping an older woman with dementia who came to their door feeling lost and confused over the weekend.Cape Coral police said the Brownes treated the woman with kindness, provided her with food and drinks, and helped officers reunite her with her caregiver. Officers presented the Brownes with Cape Coral Police Department challenge coins to thank them.
