Fort Dodge police have identified the man who was shot and killed Sunday. Jason A. Ruffridge, 44, of Fort Dodge, died after being shot multiple times.It happened around 8:45 p.m. Sunday on 3rd Avenue Northwest, according to a news release from the police department. When officers arrived, they say the victim was not responsive. It's not clear what led up to the shooting and police have not released the victim's name. Anyone who has information about this shooting is asked to contact Fort Dodge police.

Fort Dodge police have identified the man who was shot and killed Sunday.
Jason A. Ruffridge, 44, of Fort Dodge, died after being shot multiple times.

It happened around 8:45 p.m. Sunday on 3rd Avenue Northwest, according to a news release from the police department. When officers arrived, they say the victim was not responsive.
