A five-year-old Kentucky girl with a rare and deadly lung disease was able to spend her birthday at Disney World.Jamie was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease when she was three months old. Her trip was made possible through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, according to WPSD-TV.Her wish was to meet Minnie Mouse.Jamie's mom, Jessica Duncan, said being outside in the summer can be difficult for the 5-year-old.“She sometimes wants to go outside, but it’s too hot. She can’t handle it,” Duncan said.Jamie has been on oxygen since being diagnosed.“There’s not a cure for it,” Jessica said. “They’ve talked about a lung transplant, but they said she wouldn’t make it. Her lungs are too bad.”
