HOW YOU CAN LEND A HAND INSIDE THIS CLOSET. SHELVES ARE LINED WITH STUFFED ANIMALS, A TREASURE TROVE FOR ANY CHILD. IT’S OKLAHOMA KIDS CORRAL, SO ANY KID OR ADULT OR SIBLING CAN COME IN AND PICK OUT A STUFFED ANIMAL. WE JUST WANT TO PUT A SMILE ON THEIR FACES. THE CLOSET IS RUN BY DINO’S FOR LIAM. IT’S NAMED FOR KINLEY, A FAMILY FRIEND WHO DIED FROM CANCER AT JUST FIVE YEARS OLD. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVED DINOSAURS AND RIGHT. EVEN HE HAD HIS CANCER. HAD TO TAKE AWAY THESE TWO HANDS, THESE TWO FINGERS. AND HE CALLED THIS HAND HIS DINOSAUR HAND. AND RIGHT BEFORE HE PASSED, WE GAVE HIM A REALLY BIG DINOSAUR STUFFED ANIMAL. AND HE WAS GOING THROUGH A HARD TIME, BUT IT JUST PUT A SMILE BACK ON HIS FACE. SO AFTER HE PASSED, I SAID THAT I WANTED TO DO SOMETHING TO PUT SMILES ON THEIR FACES LIKE I DID FOR HIM. SINCE THE CLOSET OPENED A FEW WEEKS AGO, DONATED NEW AND PRE-LOVED BEARS, PENGUINS AND SQUISHMALLOWS HAVE BEEN FLYING OFF THE SHELVES. SHE’S ASKING THE COMMUNITY TO TEE UP AT A GOLF TOURNAMENT SCHEDULED FOR NEXT MONTH AT THE EARLY WYNN GOLF COURSE. THEY’RE NEW AT GOLF, OR THEY’VE BEEN PLAYING FOR A LONG TIME JUST TO COME OUT AND HAVE A GREAT DAY. ALL THE MONEY GOES DIRECTLY TOWARDS BUYING STUFFED ANIMALS. WE HAVE ABOUT 30 SO FAR AND WE NEED 100. SO WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A LOT OF PLAYERS AND WE’D LIKE EVERYBODY TO SIGN UP.
