This morning, 20 hostages were released in two phases and are now on their way back to Israel, where thousands of people are waiting in anticipation.

President Donald Trump arrived in Israel this morning, where he is scheduled to meet with the families of the hostages.
Addressing Israel's parliament later in the day, Trump said, "After so many years of unceasing war and endless danger, today the skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still, and the sun rises on a holy land that is finally at peace. A land and a region that will live, God willing, in peace for all eternity."
Trump is set to travel to Egypt next for a Middle East Peace Ceremony. Leaders from the Middle East, Europe and the United Nations are attending. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he won't take part due to a Jewish holiday. Iran's government also declined the invitation.
Trump will return to Washington early Tuesday.
