The Hawkeyes were looking for playmaking receivers this offseason. Thursday, they landed a good one. Kaleb Brown, a former four-star WR from Chicago, committed to Iowa on Thursday. The former Ohio State backup gives coach Kirk Ferentz a talented wideout he sorely needed. Iowa recruited Brown when he was a high schooler, but the St. Rita grad chose Ohio State over a host of elite programs. Last season, Brown only caught one pass and struggled to be a part of the Buckeyes' offense. Now, Brown has a chance to be a featured playmaker with former Michigan QB Cade McNamara under center.Iowa lost starting receivers Keagan Johnson and Arland Bruce IV to the portal.
