ABC NEWS IS REPORTING HE HAS A HISTORY WITH MENTAL HEALTH, INCLUDING A TWO WEEK STAY AT A FACILITY. THIS SUMMER WITH THREATS TO SHOOT UP A NATIONAL GUARD FACILITY IN IN SARCOMA, MAINE. SO YOU KNOW, THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT, EVERYBODY ELSE RIPS DOWN THROUGH HERE. NOW, THIS MORNING, THIS RURAL COMMUNITY CONTINUES TO SHELTER IN PLACE. SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED. MANY RESIDENTS STAYING HOME THIS MORNING. WE HAVE NOT SEEN ANY SORT OF POLICE PRESENCE IN THE AREA. BOWDOIN DOES NOT HAVE A LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT. THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS COVERING THIS COMMUNITY. ABC NEWS IS OFFERING SOME MORE DETAILS ABOUT CARD THAT IN JULY THERE WAS STAFF AT THE CAMP SMITH TRAINING SITE IN NEW YORK REPORTING THAT HE WAS ACTING ERRATICALLY, BEHAVING ERRATICALLY. Robert Card, 40, of Bowdoin, Maine, has been identified as a suspect in the shootings at Sparetime Recreation and Schemengees Bar and Grille Restaurant.
