Buying hot dogs, it's not as simple as it used to be. There was *** time when the hot dog was *** hot dog, but then along came the all beef frank for the more discriminating. But as the price of beef went up, *** new type of frankfurter appeared, made with less expensive chicken and turkey. And then to complicate the selection process even further, the delicious cheese dog was introduced. Oh, but it doesn't end there. Now there's the ham and cheese dog. Last year we showed you the complicated process the all American hot dog goes through before it reaches the supermarket, an incredible mouthwatering sight. To further my education, I made another pilgrimage. Only this time I was given my own little mountain of delectable dogs. I guess the folks at Kunzler didn't want *** repeat of last year's rather embarrassing scene on Manor Street. Now watch closely. Here's how they put all that cheese inside those cheese franks. The cheese is chopped separately, uh, by *** separate machine entirely separate operation. The only time the two come together is in the final blending. The meat is processed the same as *** traditional hot dog is, uh, made out of fresh cuts of beef and pork, uh, and of course cheese is introduced at *** later stage in the operation where real white American cheese is chopped and then introduced to the ground meat, uh, before it's completely blended. Kunzler's latest is the ham and cheese frank, the only company in the country to make them. They're selling like hot dogs. Right now we're, we're not able to keep up, uh, quite frankly, with the demand for the product, which makes us extremely happy. Well, there you have it, *** dog update. Oh, take my advice.
