Caitlin Clark's old elementary school cheers on the Hawkeyes
At St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, students are wearing black and gold Thursday and Friday to show their support for alum Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Women's Basketball Team in the Final Four.
Students lined the hallways and gathered in the gym, cheering and chanting the name of the former student and current Hawkeye.
It's a nod to a tradition at the school that they typically do for the eighth graders as they graduate.
School staff made a video walking through the halls and into the gymnasium showing off all the Hawkeye spirit, and plan to get it to Clark before the game on Friday.

School staff says she's become a huge inspiration for the students following in her footsteps.
"You always hear 'you can do this, you can be whatever you want,' and when it comes from your own grassroots and your own building, she walked these halls, she played in this gym, she wore the jersey that we're going to wear that's just another step above 'I can do this, I can believe,'" Phillip Grothus, Communications Coordinator at St. Francis, said.
Dowling Catholic High School will host a Caitlin Clark Day on Friday, encouraging students to wear black and gold or maroon.
