The Marshalltown Police Department unveiled that 1,624 drivers faced tickets from Marshalltown's new speed cameras in July. The fines range between $100 and $400 depending on how fast the drivers are going, starting at 11 mph over the limit.The cameras are on Lincoln Way near Orchard Lane and on Governor Road near Benjamin Drive. More than 400 citations were issued back in June through the first five days after the cameras were implemented.Drivers have 30 days to pay their fine after receiving the ticket.
