PERSONALITY. THE ENTIRE EM’S COFFEE COMPANY TEAM IS AMAZING. ZANE. BUT TRULY, EMILY IS. SHE IS THE HEART OF IT. YEAH, SHE SHE BRINGS THAT WARMTH THAT WE ALL JUST LOVE. DON’T EVER TELL SOMEBODY WHAT THEY CAN’T DO. EXACTLY. THAT’S THE LESSON TO LEARN FROM THIS. BECAUSE SHE CAN DO ANYTHING. I’M CONVINCED SHE’S OUT THERE GETTING IT DONE. ABSOLUTELY. YEAH, THAT’S REALLY, REALLY COOL STUFF, KAYLA. SPEAKING OF COOL. YEAH. NOT GOING TO BE TOMORROW, RIGHT? YEAH. IT WASN’T COOL TODAY. IT’S GOING TO BE DOWNRIGHT HOT AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE SECOND HALF OF THE WEEKEND. WE MENTIONED EARLIER HEAT ADVISORIES GOING TO GO BACK INTO EFFECT TOMORROW MORNING FOR OUR TOMORROW NOONTIME. I SHOULD SAY, FOR BASICALLY ALL OF CENTRAL IOWA. SO THERE’S YOUR ORANGE COLORED COUNTIES, YOUR PINK COLORED COUNTIES OUT IN WESTERN IOWA. THAT’S ACTUALLY EXTREME HEAT WARNING AT MAYBE FIVE MORE DEGREES. YOUR HEAT INDEX. MOST OF US IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF THAT 105 DEGREE NUMBER TOMORROW AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING AS WELL, WE’LL HAVE MORE OF THESE BALLOONS LIFTING OFF FROM DOWN BY INDIANOLA, AUSTIN SENT US THIS PICTURE FROM JUST A FEW OF THEM. LIGHT BREEZE. SO THAT PART OF THE WEATHER VERY CONDUCIVE THIS EVENING, BUT MAYBE A LITTLE BIT STICKY. IT’S GOING TO GET STICKIER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. PEAK OF THE HEAT LOOKS TO BE AROUND MONDAY, WHEN WE JUMP OUR TEMPERATURES UP TO THE MID 90S, AND THE HUMIDITY SURGES AS WELL. SO WE’RE PROBABLY LOOKING AT SOME 100 TEENS, POSSIBLY FOR THE AFTERNOON HOURS AND MONDAY STILL NOT GREAT. TUESDAY. THE RELIEF COMES AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE SECOND HALF OF NEXT WEEK, WHEN WE’RE GOING TO REALLY DROP OUR HEAT INDEX VALUES AND SOME OF OUR HUMIDITY. I GUESS THE HEAT AND THE HUMIDITY IN A BIG WAY AND LONG RANGE AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE END OF THE MONTH AND ACTUALLY THE BEGINNING OF AUGUST. OUR LONG RANGE OUTLOOK FAVORS COOLER THAN AVERAGE TEMPERATURES MID 80S AS YOUR AVERAGE HIGH THIS TIME OF YEAR, AND IT’S LOOKING LIKELY ABOUT A WEEK FROM NOW. WE HAVE A PRETTY GOOD CHANCE IS ABOUT 60 TO 70% PROBABILITIES. THAT KIND OF MID BLUE COLOR OF COOLER THAN NORMAL READINGS MAYBE NOT COOL, BUT AT LEAST BELOW NORMAL. THIS IS WHAT WE’VE GOT TO LOOK FORWARD TO TOMORROW. WIDESPREAD YOU KNOW, WIDESPREAD 105, GIVE OR TAKE A COUPLE OF DEGREES IN THE AFTERNOON HOURS, A LITTLE BIT OF A LIGHT BREEZE, BUT NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO REALLY HELP THAT MUCH. MAYBE ABOUT TEN MILES PER HOUR. MOST. HERE’S MONDAY’S NUMBERS. CRANK THEM UP. MAYBE A FEW MORE DEGREES 110, 111, 12, 13. SOMEWHERE IN THAT RANGE, BECAUSE THE TEMPERATURE GOES UP A COUPLE MORE DEGREES AND THE HUMIDITY WILL BE JUST DOWNRIGHT GROSS. MONDAY AFTERNOON. NOW, I MENTIONED EARLIER IN THE SHOW, WE DO HAVE A COUPLE POSSIBILITIES FOR SOME STORMS MIXED IN WITH THAT HEAT. THAT’S WHAT WE’LL SHOW YOU HERE TONIGHT. NOTHING LIKE THAT. WE WILL JUST HAVE MAYBE SOME AREAS OF SOME FOG DEVELOP IN THIS KIND OF CALM, SOUPY AIR MASS INTO TOMORROW MORNING THAT LIFTS, AND THEN WE GET THE HEAT IN THE AFTERNOON, AND THEN SOME STORMS ARE GOING TO SAG OUT OF BASICALLY MINNESOTA. AND THEN KIND OF CROSS NORTHERN TO EASTERN IOWA LATE TOMORROW NIGHT INTO THE WEE HOURS OF MONDAY MORNING. SO NOT ALL CENTRAL IOWA IN ON THIS ACTION, BUT MAYBE A, YOU KNOW, ANOTHER DOWNPOUR WHICH WE’VE SEEN PLENTY OF IS POSSIBLE FOR NORTHERN, NORTHEASTERN, EASTERN PARTS OF THE STATE LATE TOMORROW NIGHT. THEN THERE’S MONDAY’S HEAT. BASICALLY ALL THESE STORMS KIND OF FORM AND GO AROUND THE WORST OF THE HEAT. THAT’S KIND OF HOW IT WORKS THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. AND THE NEXT ONE AFTER THAT IS LATE MONDAY NIGHT. SO LATE SUNDAY NIGHT, LATE MONDAY NIGHT, LATE MONDAY NIGHT. IT’S BASICALLY ALONG THE IOWA MINNESOTA BORDER. BEST CHANCE IF YOU’RE UP TOWARDS MASON CITY, CLEAR LAKE, ALGONA, EMMETSBURG AND SO ON. AGAIN, NOT EVERYBODY IN ON THIS ACTION THAT’S GONE TOO. AND THEN AS WE HEAD TOWARDS TUESDAY, OUR CLOUDS WILL START TO INCREASE A LITTLE BIT. BUT I THINK WE STILL HAVE ENOUGH HEAT AND HUMIDITY. THE NEXT BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN WIDESPREAD ACROSS THE STATE IS TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY. CLOUDY SHOWERS AND STORMS WEDNESDAY THAT DROPS US TO LOW 80S AND THEN WE GO TO 70S BY THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, MAYBE EVEN INTO THE BEGINNING PART OF NEXT WEEKEND IN
