7:30 a.m. Update: Des Moines Police are responding to a crash at 14th St. and Guthrie Ave. First responders are assisting with injuries. Drivers are asked to proceed with caution through the area and expect potential traffic delays. Another crash is being reported in the West Mixmaster. The left lane of the I-80 eastbound exit ramp to I-35 is blocked by stalled vehicles. Commuters should move over and use the right lane while exiting. Showers continue to make their way across Central Iowa with heavier rain falling in southern Iowa, triggering a flash flood warning in Adams County, Ringgold County, Clarke County, Wayne County, Decatur County, Taylor County, Whiteside County and Union County. Drivers in these areas should be on the lookout for pooling on roads and highways. As of 6:45 a.m., there were no incidents to report, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation.
