Warm, dry weather dominates the forecast over the next several days in Iowa.
Skies will be quiet tonight, minus some areas of fog possible again before daybreak tomorrow. Temperatures will cool back down to around 60°.

Tomorrow will be similar to today, just a bit warmer. Expect highs in the low to mid-80s by afternoon with plenty of sunshine.
Highs around 90° or warmer come our way Friday and stick around into early next week. Saturday still looks like the hottest day — when temps will climb toward the mid-90s. Des Moines' record high for September 13 is 96°. We'll probably end up a couple degrees below that mark.
Winds will also pick up some Friday through Sunday. A southwesterly breeze will gust up around 25 mph at times, helping push the heat into Iowa.
By Sunday, the broader weather pattern will change enough to bring at least some chance of rain back. A wave of energy passing through the Plains to our west will help start showers and some storms over western Iowa later Sunday overnight into early Monday.
Here in the central Iowa, that rainfall isn't guaranteed.
A slightly more active pattern could bring better opportunities for rain toward the second half of next week.
Until then, we'll be generally dry and warmer than normal.
