Iowa weather: Rain chances continue through the end of the week
Through the day we should gather enough moisture for some showers and even a chance for isolated storms.

Our max temperatures today are dependent on when the rain will start. For some, showers will start in the afternoon, which will allow the temperatures to still have a decent rebound into the 60s. The sooner the rain starts, the lower our afternoon high will be. Rain chances will climb for the afternoon and peak for the evening and overnight night hours. This will lead to a soggy start to Thursday as rain chances continue.
The coverage of showers will not be as high for Thursday compared to today. We will see more isolated to scattered showers for the morning and then another round possible for the afternoon. Temperatures should be able to climb into the mid and upper 60s with the breaks in the rain expected. Friday will feature additional chances for rain in the later morning hours into the afternoon as a fairly quick moving round of rain passes over.
Once the rain moves out Friday, we will be entering a decent dry stretch. There aren’t any signs of great rain chances for the weekend or through the first half of next week. Highs will respond to the dry and clear conditions as they climb into the 70s from Sunday and beyond Wednesday.
