YEAH. PRETTY COOL. GOOD STUFF. VERY NICE. WE’RE GOING TO SEE A GOOD AMOUNT OF RAIN TONIGHT. OKAY. AND, YEAH, WE’VE GOT SOME STORMS OUT THERE RIGHT NOW. WE’VE GOT ONE NEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING THAT I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW ABOUT. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH, THOUGH. UP FOR SOUTHERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE STATE, BASICALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF I-80 HERE, THAT GOES UNTIL 10:00. ALL THE PINK COUNTIES HERE INCLUDED IN THAT WATCH. WE’LL GET TO THE RADAR, THOUGH. WE’VE GOT STORMS COMING OUT OF NORTHERN MISSOURI INTO SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE STATE HERE WITH THAT NEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING MOVING OUT OF CLARK COUNTY INTO WARREN COUNTY. SO OSCEOLA, NEW VIRGINIA, INDIANOLA, ALL INCLUDED IN THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING. HAIL THE BIGGEST CONCERN UP TO ABOUT QUARTER SIZE IN DIAMETER. WE ALREADY SAW SOME HAIL WITH THE STORM THAT ROLLED THROUGH KNOXVILLE. SO THERE’S POTENTIAL FOR SOME HAIL WITH MOST OF THESE CELLS THAT ARE MOVING IN ACROSS THE STATE NOW, WE’VE GOT SOME POCKETS OF HEAVIER RAIN, LIGHTNING AND THUNDER, OF COURSE, ALL WITH THESE STORMS AND THAT RAIN AND STORM ACTIVITY CONTINUES TO EXTEND FURTHER SOUTH DOWN TOWARDS DECATUR COUNTY. LAMONI OUT TOWARDS CORYDON AS WELL. YOU’VE GOT SOME STORMS ROLLING THROUGH YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD AS WELL. SO THESE ARE ALL GOING TO CONTINUE TO MOVE TO THE NORTH. RAINFALL SO FAR TODAY. THIS IS FROM MIDNIGHT UP UNTIL 4:00. HERE. A GOOD HEALTHY DOSE OF RAIN, ESPECIALLY ACROSS SOUTHERN IOWA, HALF AN INCH OR SO FOR MOST SPOTS HERE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN TIER OF THE STATE. ALREADY. WE’RE GOING TO ADD TO THESE TOTALS HERE OVERNIGHT TONIGHT AND INTO TOMORROW MORNING. WE’VE GOT THE CHANCE FOR RAIN AND STORMS PRETTY MUCH THROUGHOUT THE EVENING OFF AND ON THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. TONIGHT. THE BATCH OF STORMS RIGHT NOW, THOSE WILL CONTINUE TO LIFT TO OUR NORTH. MOVE THROUGH CENTRAL IOWA HERE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. WE’RE STILL LOOKING WITH WET ROADWAYS AND WET CONDITIONS OUT THERE THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS. TONIGHT. SOME OF THOSE STORMS AGAIN ON THE STRONGER SIDE HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE SEVERE HAIL AND WIND. PROBABLY OUR BIGGEST CONCERNS. MAYBE A LITTLE BIT OF A BREAK EARLY TOMORROW MORNING, BUT THEN WE’LL SEE MORE RAIN, OR AT LEAST ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS THROUGH AT LEAST THE EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS TOMORROW. CLOUDS TOMORROW A COOLER DAY. WE KEEP IT WINDY OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS WELL. WE’RE LOOKING AT MORE RAIN COMING OVERNIGHT TONIGHT, PROBABLY BY THE TIME EVERYTHING IS ALL SAID AND DONE. A GOOD 1 TO 3IN OR SO OF RAINFALL HERE THROUGH THE EARLY PORTION OF THE DAY TOMORROW. SO TONIGHT, LOW 50S OR SO UPPER 40S ACROSS NORTHERN IOWA. TOMORROW’S FORECAST HAS US BACK INTO THE LOW 60S ACROSS CENTRAL IOWA, UPPER 50S ON WEDNESDAY. OTHERWISE IT’S A COOLER WORKWEEK FOR US. LOW 60S THURSDAY. WE’RE BACK UP NEAR 70 FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. NICE WEEKEND FOR NOW. INTO THE HOLIDAY ON MONDAY FOR MEMORIAL DAY.
