As we head into the evening, more scattered storms and some showers will make their way up through Southern Iowa.

We may have some showers/storms around by the start of the Farmers Market on Saturday, but then the daytime hours will be dry and muggy. The humidity stays high through at least Wednesday.
The heat indices could reach 105 degrees again by Sunday and Monday. Beyond that, there will be more rain and storm chances next week, and even overnight shower and storm chances. We are looking at a good cooldown as we head into the end of next week.
A flood watch is up for Central and Southern Iowa through noon Saturday. With our saturated soils, heavy rain could send us over the top for some communities.
