GREAT SEATS, RIGHT? YES. HAVING TO ENDURE SOME SPICY WEATHER OUT THERE RIGHT NOW. YES. IT’S HOT. YEAH. I MEAN, THESE ARE THE DAYS WHERE, I MEAN, WE TALK ABOUT THEM ALL THE TIME. HEAT OF THE SUMMER COMES AND YOU GOT TO TRY TO STAY COOL AND STAY HYDRATED. AND IT’S GOING TO BE EVEN MORE IMPORTANT WITH THE AMOUNT OF OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES THAT WE HAVE GOING ON OUT THERE. AGAIN, WE’VE GOT AMERICA 250, WE’VE GOT YANKEE DOODLE POPS AND JUST A PLETHORA OF OTHER CITY EVENTS CELEBRATING THE 4TH OF JULY. SO WHETHER IT’S TONIGHT OR TOMORROW, IT IS GOING TO BE HOT. IT’S GOING TO BE VERY HUMID. SO MAKE SURE YOU’RE STAYING HYDRATED AND COOL OUT THERE. THAT JULY 3RD PARADE IN WEST DES MOINES. NO, NO QUESTION THERE. HOT AND HUMID AS WELL. 90 AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THAT, TEMPERATURES BACKING DOWN INTO THE 80S. FINALLY BY 830. AND WE’VE GOT A LITTLE BIT OF A BREEZE OUT THERE. YOU CAN SEE STACY’S HAIR KIND OF WOBBLING IN THAT BREEZE THAT’S GOING TO TAPER BACK TO AS WE HEAD INTO THE EVENING. SO STILL NOT LOOKING TO BE THAT COMFORTABLE OF A NIGHT. MOST OF OUR DEW POINTS HAVE BEEN HOVERING RIGHT AROUND 70. BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF US THAT ARE DOWNRIGHT MISERABLE WITH THOSE DEW POINTS IN EXCESS OF 70 DEGREES. AND WELL, THAT’S WHERE WE SIT HERE IN THE METRO. 70 FOR DEW POINT 71 IN AMES. THAT IS SO MUCH MOISTURE OUT THERE IN THE AIR AND ACROSS THE STATE ON SUPER DOPPLER EIGHT, SKIES MAINLY FILLED WITH SUNSHINE, THOUGH YOU CAN SEE AN OCCASIONAL SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM THAT’S BEEN POPPING UP MAINLY THROUGH NORTHEASTERN PORTIONS OF THE STATE. WE COULD SEE THIS TRICKLE A LITTLE BIT FURTHER TO THE SOUTH. I’D SAY MARSHALLTOWN WILL HAVE A CHANCE, EVEN OUTWARD TOWARDS GRINNELL. SO A BIT, A LITTLE BIT OF RAINY RELIEF COULD BE ON THE WAY. BUT MOST OF US ARE NOT GOING TO BE EXPERIENCING THAT. YOU LOOK AT THE FAIRGROUNDS RIGHT NOW, THANKFULLY, A LITTLE BIT OF A BREEZE GOING ON OUT THERE. OTHERWISE JUST SOME LIGHT, FAIR WEATHER, CUMULUS CLOUDS WORKING THEIR WAY AROUND HOUR BY HOUR DOES BRING IN SOME OF THOSE SHOWERS AND STORMS. EVEN TRIES TO BRING ONE THROUGH THE METRO, SO WE’LL HAVE TO KEEP THAT IN MIND AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE EVENING. THAT CLEARS OUT, AND TOMORROW IT IS JUST DRY, HUMID AND HOT OUT THERE WITH SUNNY SKIES, RAIN CHANCES FINALLY DO RETURN THOUGH INTO THE DAY ON SATURDAY. IT’S NOT GOING TO BE AN ALL DAY THING, BUT WE’LL HAVE CHANCES FOR MUCH OF THE AT LEAST LATE MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS AS ANOTHER LINE STARTS TO WORK ITS WAY ON THROUGH. THAT’S FINALLY GOING TO HELP US TO COOL BACK, THOUGH. IT’S ONLY GOING TO BE INTO THE MID 80S BEHIND THAT SYSTEM, SO COULD SEE A QUICK HALF INCH TO AN INCH OUT OF THAT. I THINK MUCH MORE WIDESPREAD AMOUNTS WILL BE AROUND A QUARTER OF AN INCH OR SO WITH THAT, BUT THANKFULLY IT IS BRINGING BRINGING IN THAT COOLER AIR. WE’VE GOT 90 FOR YOUR FRIDAY MIDDLE 80S, ON SATURDAY, MIDDLE 80S ON SUNDAY AS WELL. MO
