Johnny Gaudreau's widow announces pregnancy during eulogy
*** line stretched out the door and far beyond the alleyway of Gloucester Catholic High school. The school runs generations deep and it prides itself in family, faith and tradition. Friday night showed just that as the community came out to support the Goodreau family following the loss of Johnny and Matthew Goudreau. Such *** tragic event, Johnny and Maddie and the whole Goodreau family means so much to just the entire Gloucester Catholic family. And as always, the Gloucester Catholic family rallies behind and the support that we have got at the school, let alone the support I know that the family has got is just something that I'll never forget. And I know they'll never forget. Police say the brothers were hit and killed by *** suspected drunk driver while they were riding their bikes last Thursday night in Salem County *** day before their sister's wedding. *** remembrance ceremony was held inside the gym to give the community *** chance to pray and heal and lift the family up. I never knew him personally, but it still feels like I lost *** friend when it started. Our camera stayed outside out of respect for the family. But there were pictures of flowers, jerseys and balloons. I think we are *** Catholic family. Uh The controls embody what that means. And uh the love they have for one another is second to none. We're just so happy tonight that we have the opportunity to open up our doors and have, have, have *** chance to not only mourn the loss of these two fine young men, but also um celebrate their life as the memories and tributes continue to pour in from all over Catholic says the brothers never forgot where they came from and were always giving back to the community and school. They were hometown hockey heroes and role models to so many. They were the most humble people you ever want to meet. They're just *** great family, they're grounded and it's just *** real big loss for not only Gloucester Catholic but for everybody in this area.
