Flurries and temperatures in the 20 s for most of us, not exactly ideal cycling weather, but for these bikers, it's the perfect way to experience the holiday lights. It's surprising you have more time to look at them this way and you get to enjoy them better on *** bicycle than you do in *** car because I'm usually driving and I have to watch where I'm going. We started it last year. We had about 15 people last year and I think we got about 20 out here now. So it's getting good now to create the proper holiday. Mood riders garnished their two wheelers with garland and lights, some even decorated their helmets. I was riding over here and I was kind of concerned that I remember that it was deer hunting season. The bikers say as they take in these Christmas displays, safety is key in their mind, especially when it comes to cars. They each have *** light on the front and back of their bike and of course their helmets, they say traveling in *** group makes them *** lot easier to see and the weather believe it or not is perfect as long as you're prepared. How many layers? About five? It's warm. I'm hot. I'm sweating, seeing the holiday lights from two wheels instead of four. These brave bikers say it's the only way to go. It's Iowa. It's winter.
