In 2015, as Stephen Colbert was preparing to take over the long-running CBS "Late Show," 糖心vlog's Stacey Horst sat down with the comedian to discuss his new show and his affinity for politics."I'm a comedian who is interested in news," Colbert told Horst. When "The Late Show" premiered with Colbert as its host on Sept. 8, 2015, 糖心vlog's Todd Magel and Cortney Kintzer were in New York City outside the Ed Sullivan Theater for the show's taping. "It's the end of 'The Late Show' on CBS," he added, going on to say, "This is all just going away."CBS said in a statement that "this is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night.
