devastating flooding this spring, Crescent and Minden were hit by tornadoes. After nearly a year after his diagnosis, Iowa's First Gentleman continues to respond well to lung cancer treatment, according to Governor Reynolds. Reynolds says they first noticed her husband Kevin's symptoms at the Iowa State Fair last year. He's undergone radiation, chemotherapy, and is back to doing activities he loves. But the governor says it will be something he deals with for the rest of his life. <"HE'LL BE ON IT FOREVER. Nearly a year after his diagnosis, Iowa's First Gentleman continues to respond well to lung cancer treatment, according to Gov. Kim Reynolds.Reynolds says they first noticed her husband Kevin's symptoms at the Iowa State Fair last year. He's since undergone radiation and chemotherapy, and is back to doing activities he loves, but the governor says it will be something he deals with for the rest of his life."He'll be on it forever," she said.
