Man brings bullied cousin's cat lunchbox to work to prove a point about 'manliness'

David Pendragon might just be the best cousin in all of North Carolina, or even the whole galaxy.
On , Pendragon shared this photo, detailing his cousin's son, Ryker's, recent experience with bullying.
Here's a close up on the lunchbox:
"Ryker, who loves cats, was very excited to get his new lunchbox. Unfortunately because of its colors, or because it has cats, or both he was teased about it by other boys in his class. He even wanted to stop taking his lunch so he wouldn't be teased about it any longer," Pendragon wrote.
To show his support, Pendragon ordered the same lunchbox and brought it to his "large, conservative corporate workplace," and even his coworkers expressed their support as well.
Others are on their side, too. Since posting, Pendragon's message has been shared over 50,000 and has 8,000 comments.
"Men can be colorful. Men can be expressive. Men can be emotional and silly and gleeful. I love my new lunchbox and I hope Ryker and all the other boys out there can see that their passion and self-expression is never something to be ashamed of," Pendragon wrote.
But most importantly, what does Ryker think? "He's very happy," Pendragon told .
“His teacher heard about it and she talked to the students in the class. Once it was explained to them, they were very apologetic," Pendragon said. "He’s brought it to school every day since! As far as I know, he’s not getting any more trouble.”
