If anyone gets to weigh in on all things Star Wars, Mark Hamill, a.k.a. Luke Skywalker, definitely qualifies. When N.J. Simmonds, an author and mom to a 7-year-old, tweeted that her daughter didn't want to wear her favorite Star Wars shirt to school, because she was afraid of being bullied for liking "boy stuff," she called on other fans of the franchise to show their support. She had no idea that Luke Skywalker himself would be chiming in. "'Boy stuff?' PLEASE! The Force is, and always will be strong with females here on Earth and in galaxies far, far away," he wrote on Twitter.Hamill wasn't the only Star Wars expert to show their support for Simmonds's daughter. Some pretty amazing women opened up about their own fandom and why the movies mean so much to them.At the end of the day, Simmonds' daughter wore her shirt to school and all of her friends loved it. Now, she won't take it off.
