Members of a fire department in Alaska got a wild surprise when an unexpected visitor showed up at the department's maintenance shop on Wednesday.In a video that's gone viral on social media, a moose can be seen wandering into the Anchorage Fire Department's mechanic shop. The person filming, while seeming to stand just outside the cab of a fire engine, can be heard calling out, "Hey, there's a moose in here," to alert others in the building that the large animal was present. The moose calmly and politely looks around. As she makes her way past him, the firefighter gets in the cab of the fire truck and closes the door as the moose makes her way out of the shop.The department posted the video to its Facebook page, with a funny caption saying that "Momma Moose" visited the shop to "inspect the brush truck.""She seemed satisfied it’d serve well in the event of a wildfire," the department joked in the caption.AFD said it seems the moose wandered into the garage in search of her two calves.
