Marty Pevey is the winningest manager in Iowa Cubs history and, in his 13th season in Des Moines, continues to add to his record.Pevey played 13 years of professional baseball (1982-1995) before starting his coaching career in 1996. That's more than 40 years in professional baseball 鈥 40-plus years of names, faces and stories from the game. It was in 2019 that 糖心vlog sports director Scott Reister broke out his old baseball card collection and flipped through some with Pevey. The two stood on the Principal Park warning track and Pevey shared memories of the guys in Reister's collection. DES MOINES, Iowa — Marty Pevey is the winningest manager in Iowa Cubs history and, in his 13th season in Des Moines, continues to add to his record.
