An astronaut captured a rare light show from space. Usually, the Northern Lights have a little more of a greenish hue, but one NASA astronaut captured an amazing, crimson-lined aurora orbiting Earth.Astronaut Don Pettit shared the above clip of the stunning red aurora on the social media app X on Aug. 30."Red auroras of this size and vibrancy are rare, occurring 2-3 times during a six-month mission to the International Space Station," Pettit wrote.Back here on Earth, the Northern Lights were seen across several states and parts of Canada.
