Trixie, a beloved four-legged visitor at Ridgeland Place Senior Living in Ridgeland, Mississippi, has officially earned her certification with Alliance Pet Therapy.The community celebrated her graduation with treats, photos, and plenty of tail wags.Her owner, Barbara Tuccio, joined residents to hand out treats and cheer on Trixie, who has become a familiar face at Ridgeland Place.Executive director Michael Ryan said the celebration was a chance to recognize Trixie’s contributions to the community and residents' daily lives."Seeing Trixie finish her certification was a great opportunity to recognize how much she contributes to our daily routine," said Michael Ryan, executive director of Ridgeland Place. "She has become a familiar figure, and this was a way to celebrate her role in the community."
