U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said officers and their federal partners were assaulted during a raid at an Omaha plant Tuesday. In a press release, Roman said some of those detained had active local warrants, prior DUI convictions and had been previously deported. "Many may now face additional federal charges," said Roman. According to ICE, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Omaha Police Department assisted with traffic control and public safety in the areas near the operation.
