MORE FANS HEADING INTO HIS SECOND YEAR. 620 THIS MORNING, WE’RE TAKING A CLOSE LOOK AT THE FORECAST TODAY. AFTER TAKING A DEEP BREATH FROM A KIND OF A BUSY NIGHT LAST NIGHT. YEAH, EXACTLY. STORMS KIND OF PUSH ON THROUGH FOR SOME OF US, NOT ALL OF US WE KNEW WAS KIND OF A BOOM OR BUST SETUP ANYWAYS. BUT EITHER WAY, THAT’S BEHIND US. AND NOW WE’RE LOOKING AT STILL RAIN CHANCES, JUST NOT TODAY. WE’LL BE DRYING OUT. HERE’S YOUR WEATHER HEADLINES. STILL A LOT OF CLOUD COVER OVERHEAD. THE SUN WILL BE BACK THOUGH, SO IF YOU’RE GOING TO BE HEADING OUT, YOU DON’T NEED THE SUNGLASSES RIGHT THIS MOMENT, BUT YOU WILL LATER ON TODAY. RAIN DOES RETURN AS WE GET INTO WEDNESDAY, AND THAT WILL LAST AS WE GO INTO THURSDAY AS WELL. THOSE WINDS ARE STRONG RIGHT NOW, GUSTS PICKING UP TO AROUND 20 UP TO 30MPH. SO YOU’RE GOING TO FEEL THE BREEZE AS YOU STEP OUT THE DOOR. BUT AS YOU TALK ABOUT THE FORECASTED WINDS, WELL, THOSE ARE GOING TO BE GLIDING BACK DOWN, KIND OF BREAKING APART, CALMING DOWN FOR THE LATER AFTERNOON AND ESPECIALLY GOING INTO THE EVENING. YOU’RE LOOKING AT ABOUT A 4 TO 8 MILE PER HOUR WIND. THE SYSTEM TO THE SOUTH AND EAST NOW. SO WE ARE BEHIND IT. THE COLD FRONT IS GOING TO LEAD TO A COOLER KIND OF DAY, BUT ALSO NOT GOING TO ALLOW FOR ANY OF THOSE RAIN CHANCES OR STORM CHANCES TO STICK AROUND BY THE LUNCH HOUR. WE’RE SUNNY. WE’RE CLEAR. WE’RE WARMING UP AS WELL. COULD EVEN TAKE THE LUNCH OUTSIDE. YOU’LL STILL BE BATTLING THOSE LITTLE BREEZY CONDITIONS, BUT AS WE GO INTO THE LATER AFTERNOON AND EVENING, WINDS CALM DOWN, SKIES STAY CLEAR NOW, FAST FORWARDING ALL THE WAY TO WEDNESDAY MORNING. CLOUDS ARE MOVING RIGHT BACK IN. RAIN CHANCES STAYING TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST FOR THE MORNING DRIVE. HOWEVER, BY THE TIME LUNCH ROLLS AROUND, LATE MORNING SHOWERS MOVE BACK IN. EVEN A CHANCE FOR SOME ISOLATED STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE. WE’RE NOT LOOKING AT A SEVERE WEATHER THREAT, SO THAT’S NOT GOING TO BE ANY WORRY. CONTINUING WITH RAIN CHANCES FOR THE REST OF WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. GOING INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING AND OVERNIGHT, A DECENT SOAKER AS WELL. AND THEN AS WE HEAD INTO THURSDAY MORNING, STILL HOLDING ON TO SOME OF THE ISOLATED, SCATTERED SHOWER CHANCES FOR MORNING GOING INTO THURSDAY AFTERNOON AS WELL. AND THEN WE’LL BE KIND OF WINDING THAT DOWN AS WE GO INTO THURSDAY NIGHT. STILL HOLDING ON TO SOME RAIN CHANCES FOR THE END OF THE WORKWEEK. JUST NOT GOING TO BE AS HIGH NEXT TWO DAYS. TALKING WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. THAT WILL BE THE BEST CHANCE FOR THESE SHOWERS. CENTRAL IOWA AND SOUTHERN IOWA OBVIOUSLY GOING TO BE THE MAIN FOCUS FOR NORTHERN IOWA. NOT REALLY GOING TO SEE TOO MUCH, UNFORTUNATELY, AS WE TALK ABOUT THE REST OF THE WEEK, EVEN GOING INTO THURSDAY, BY THE TIME IT’S ALL SAID AND DONE, MOST OF US HERE IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN IOWA, A QUARTER TO AROUND THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH, SOME SPOTS TO THE SOUTH, ESPECIALLY SOUTHEAST. HIGHER CHANCES OF SEEING SOME AREAS GETTING AROUND AN INCH OR MORE. SO THAT’S WHAT WE EXPECT FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK. AS FAR AS THE RAINFALL, MID 60S FOR TODAY, WE’RE DRY. IT’S A GOOD DAY TO TAKE CARE OF ANY ERRANDS YOU NEED TO DO, BUT COME WEDNESDAY, SHOWERS ARE RIGHT BACK WITH US. THEN WE’LL SLOWLY TAPER THOSE RAIN CHANCES THROUGH THE REST OF THE WEEK. THIS WEEKEND GOING TO BE GORGEOUS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. HIGHS BACK IN THE 70S AND STAYING WARM AS WE GO INTO THE NEXT WORKWEEK. GREAT TIMING AND
