PROUD OF WHAT THEY’VE ACCOMPLISHED. A VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL COACH HAS BEEN NAMED REGIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR. THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF STATE HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATIONS JUST ANNOUNCED THE HONORS FOR 2023 AND 24. PHILIP CONOVER WAS RECOGNIZED FOR HIS WORK WITH THE VALLEY GOLF TEAM. HE LED THE TEAM TO THE IOWA CLASS FOUR, A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP LAST YEAR. THEY TOOK THIRD PLACE THE PAST FALL AND ACCORDING TO THE WEST DES MOINES SCHOOL DISTRICT, CONOVER WON OUT OVER COACHES FROM IOWA, ILLINOI

A central Iowa high school coach has been named Regional Coach of the Year.The National Federation of State High School Associations recently announced the honors for the 2023-2024 school year. Valley High School boys golf coach Philip Conover was recognized for his work with the team.Conover led the team to the Iowa Class 4A State Championship last year. WEST DES MOINES, Iowa —
A central Iowa high school coach has been named Regional Coach of the Year.
The National Federation of State High School Associations recently announced the honors for the 2023-2024 school year. Valley High School boys golf coach Philip Conover was recognized for his work with the team.
