I thought that I was going to die, I think this is like I'm going to die. He keeps hitting my head, that woman has cuts and bruises all over her body. She didn't want her face on camera because she's afraid of the suspect, 32 year old Quentin journal. Larks, she says after he broke into her home monday evening to rob it. He beat her viciously with *** big piece of wood when he was hitting me, he said um where's my pistol when he said when he said that um like I really, I thought that I was going to die, she says Larks eventually left, but police say he robbed another home inside the same riverside mobile home park before Carjacking the delivery van. They arrested him at the end of the chase. I just really hope that he stays in prison for the rest of his life. Larks has been charged with attempted murder, home invasion, robbery and Carjacking for what happened at the mobile home park. Also assault with *** deadly weapon. Evading arrest and suspicion of D. U. I. For what happened during the police chase the victim says her little sister was home at the time as well and hid in the bathroom, she says she's just thankful that Larks didn't see her the attack. My sister is 12. She is still, if it would have been her, you know, like she could have done and that victim tells us one of her doors was unlocked on monday because this is her home after all, and she's always felt safe here. But now she wants other women listening out there to know this is exactly why it's important to make sure your doors are always locked reporting in riverside. I'm Nicole comstock Cbs two News.

Police in California say a home invasion suspect led officers on a destructive chase in an Amazon delivery truck he car-jacked.Slamming into innocent drivers, 32-year-old Quintin Jarnall Larks drove through multiple California cities attempting to get away from police after allegedly assaulting and robbing a 23-year-old woman in her home."I thought I was gonna die. Like, I'm gonna die! He keeps hitting my head," said the woman, who remained anonymous because of her fear of the suspect.The woman now has cuts and bruises all over her body after her encounter with Larks. She says he broke into her home Monday evening to rob it. But when he saw her, he beat her viciously with a piece of wood. "When he was hitting me, he said, 'Where's my pistol?' When he said that, I really thought I was going to die," she said.Fortunately for the victim, the suspect eventually left. Police say Larks then robbed another home located in the same neighborhood before stealing the delivery van.After a short pursuit, police were able to track Larks down and arrest him.
