Some cozy seating is helping to comfort these shelter dogs in Illinois until they can find a forever home. The Knox County Humane Society No Kill Animal Shelter in Galesburg is gathering old chairs to help current residents relax. "The shelter pets absolutely love their chairs! If anyone has any older chairs they no longer want, please think of the shelter pets!" reads the caption of a video showing the dogs enjoying their seats. "Thank you to everyone who has shared and donated! The shelter pets send many licks and purrs of thanks!"The video went viral, racking up more than 15 million views on Facebook.Shelter Director Erin Buckmaster told WHBF that the idea came after a special dog named Buster Brown wouldn't stop stealing seats at the front desk. "We have Buster Brown behind the desk and he kept sitting in our chairs with us and there wasn't room," she said.Soon he had his own seat to recline in and the trend caught on. "So we thought it would be a good idea if they all got a chair," said Buckmaster. "They love it. Like Mickey's been here the longest, so we put him in his chair and he's so much more relaxed."While these pups wait patiently for their new families, at least they'll have the best seats in the house.
