The adoptive mother of a 16-year-old who was starved to death entered a plea of not guilty Tuesday to charges related to the case.Misty Ray and her husband Marc face charges of neglect and abuse for Sabrina Ray's death. Marc Ray is scheduled to appear in court Thursday. They are each being held on $1 million bond. Sabrina’s Ray’s biological father and aunt spoke to vlog's Hannah Hilyard on Tuesday in their first TV interview. Sabrina’s death is now a new, painful reality for Busch and the rest of his family. "That was my girl, my daughter there,” Busch said. “And I just can't believe she was here and now she's gone, you know? And I was hoping in the future, even when she was adopted, (that) we would connect." Sabrina Ray’s biological family did give up all rights once the Rays adopted her, but Bond said if they could have one wish, they would ask for custody of Sabrina’s body so they could give her a proper funeral.
