WATCH: Seattle NHL team's mascot has close encounter with brown bear during video shoot in Alaska
Oh I think I had *** quick little reaction of, I was wondering if this was going to happen. Bears are everywhere at Brooks Falls and like this is their territory. They're also super used to seeing humans, so the um I wasn't scared. I knew we were going to be safe. While we're up there every summer, we try to do *** little bit of an excursion to, um, showcase the absolute beauty that is in the state of Alaska. And, um, this year we went fly fishing, which was really, really fun. Um, we took John Hayden and Buy, uh, over to Brooks Falls, and they got to fly fish with, um, with some visitors, which was really exciting. Oh my God. And the bears saw Bowie got *** little excited, and honestly I think just wanted to play *** little bit and then went on his merry way. Um, I think bringing *** troll into an environment like that does cause um *** level of um just extra awareness to make sure everyone is going to be safe, including our lovely troll Buoy. It was honestly. No harm, no foul. All the bear got his salmon and we all moved on. Our guides handled it so well, like I mentioned and so we were really happy that they were with us and keeping us safe. That last little sprint I was working.
