While she didn’t get to blow out the candles or open any gifts, having her family outside her window is just what Millie Erickson needed on her 100th birthday.Erickson is a resident at Sterling Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Massachusetts, which has tightened its visitation policy due to the coronavirus outbreak. Despite that, her family made sure they found a way to celebrate her special day."It was really nice that they let us do that," Millie's son, Gary, said. "She doesn’t usually cry, but she did. While she didn’t get to blow out the candles or open any gifts, having her family outside her window is just what Millie Erickson needed on her 100th birthday.
