No surprise here: Caitlin Clark is on the preseason watch list for the annual Wooden Award.The award is given out to "the most outstanding player in women's college basketball." Clark won the award last season as a junior when she averaged 27.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game as Iowa made it all the way to the national championship game before losing to LSU.Clark is off to another strong start this season, leading Iowa to a 3-0 record with averages of 32 points, 8.3 rebounds and 9 assists per game. Clark was named AP Player of the Week for her efforts.On the men's side, Luka Garza won the Wooden Award for Iowa in 2020-21.
