8:30 a.m. Update: Around 8 a.m. this morning, the Des Moines Police Department reported it was responding to a crash at I-235 and Keo Way. It is a property damage-only crash. No injuries have been reported. Police urge drivers to keep an eye out for first responders. Friday morning commuters are in for a calm and steady commute. As of 7:30 a.m., the Iowa Department of Transportation is not reporting any issues or delays on roads in central Iowa. U.S. 59 north of the Shenandoah area in Southwest Iowa has been shut down since around 6 a.m. The DOT says there's a crash between County Road J18 and County Road L35.
