People heading to Walt Disney World on Tuesday will see some changes at its parks.Vaccinated guests will no longer be required to wear face masks at Walt Disney World. There are some exceptions to the relaxed mask guidance policy, however.Masks will still be required on Disney transportation like buses, monorails and the Skyliner. Those who are not fully vaccinated are expected to continue wearing masks.The new guidelines are a sign of a return to normal, that includes the business outlook of Disney. Disney’s CEO says the company is improving. Disney will be relaxing social distancing guidelines in many different places. That includes queues, shops, restaurants, attraction boarding, transportation and theaters.However, they say there could be some experiences that could be still limited in capacity, or not available.Disneyland Resort in California is also dropping mask requirements for fully vaccinated guests on Tuesday, as well as ending restrictions on visitors from outside California.The theme park said in a statement Monday that in accordance with California's June 15 reopening plan, there will no longer be physical distancing requirements. Instead, guests can "self-determine distancing." Disneyland will also end its practice of temperature checks at the entrance to the parks. Face coverings will still be required indoors at Disneyland, except when dining, for people ages 2 and older who are not fully vaccinated. Disneyland will not require guests to show proof of vaccination, and instead will rely on an honor system where guests "self-attest that they are in compliance."
