A Birmingham, Alabama, doctor's account of treating COVID-19 patients has gone viral.Dr. Brytney Cobia posted on Facebook that she's been treating a lot of younger patients with COVID-19. Some of those patients have a request, that she said is too late.In the viral post, Cobia said just before a patient is intubated, they beg her for the vaccine."I hold their hand and tell them I'm sorry, but it's too late," the doctor said in her post.Cobia's post has grabbed the attention of many in the medical field."It's heartbreaking when you have a patient who has something that is a preventable illness begging for something.
