Court records show Rodriguez-Ruffridge got into a fight with his father, Jason Ruffridge, before shooting him. Police say Ruffridge died of gunshot wounds to the head and abdomen. A Fort Dodge man found guilty in the shooting death of his father has been sentenced to 5 years in prison.
Olnario Rodriguez-Ruffridge was charged with first-degree murder in 2023.

Court records show Rodriguez-Ruffridge got into a fight with his father, Jason Ruffridge, before shooting him. Police say Ruffridge died of gunshot wounds to the head and abdomen.
